Gazette

I'm sure they had a shoot together, it is the only one reason why these two bands could share one photostudio. but why alice nine.? not anyone else from PSC? it is a bit strange
 
eeeeh...I know the difference is mainly about look...but I think according to that LOOK, like make up and clothes...Gazette is still a bit kind of VK though I think it's only a light essence of it (don't beat me)...sure I know there are non-VK bands but I am not familiar with them so I don't know many.
 
Well due to Wiki's reputation if I happen to be wandering around Japan Wiki and I see something suggestible should I still post it here ?

you can hear the difference between VK and Jrock musically as well. I think J-rock is more !westernized!, more like western rock, VK is more guitar solos, singing technique...
and An Cafe are Oshaew, thats subgenre of VK, or you can say today there is no more VK, only oshare kei...
 
I think that the original VK isn't a part of mainstream...only a few bands does it. Am I right?
 
VK now and Oshare still aren´t mainstream, Jrock is more mainstream, there is where The Gazette are heading currently to, but still not so much as Jpop (Ayumi HAmasaki, Kumi Koda, Utada hikaru etc)
 
eeeh...I don't know any jpop artists...a lot of people listen to k-pop though...G-dragon...do you know him?XDD

and a lot of anime theme bands have real fans and get respect. Besides, Gackt and Miyavi has done themes and I don't see anyone hating them because of it.

there's actually 5 different types of visual kei, Oshare and Anguro being the only two names that I can remember. if anyone wants, I have links to visual kei rotation sites so you'll see and hear the differences between them all.

axelle, I just heard G-Dragon recently. I don't like him much.
 
mmm.. G-Dragon, the only one asian man who looks better with white hair, he is so bombastic xD i like him
k-pop is not for me, definitely. but their dances are so great, that plastique and diligence
I know few j-pop songs, some OSTs, or bands like SID, but i'm not quite sure about how they define their music themselves.
I think Gazetto takes the best from both J-Rock and VK and combines it, makes something unique. I know what is Gazetto-style for me, but I do not know what I should expect from the new single
 
But I think it is great that we actually don't know how the song will sound, isn't it? I can't wait. eh, yeah but Miyavi and Gackt are rather pop singers...not the same type of artist as Gazette are...this is my opinion.

Well, some people sent me a video of g-dragon and I just "what the hell...?" he's like a little puppy but the style isn't for me.

where did Miyavi do an anime song?
Aparently they used Gazette´s song for an anime, ruki doesn´t seem to happy about it...
and there are many more styles of VK than five, though one could argue about exact definitions which style is what and so on. But old school VK is extinct (or almost) and though it is an inevitable evolution, I still miss it

Oh...ps company has deleted the preview...and the photo...I wondered if Kai was Kai xD...and Uruha has great hair I think!

Hm...well...PS company probably thinks it's good for Gazette to do an opening...but still...if it is so necessary to do an opening...Gazette should get a better anime...no offense...I just didn't like it that much.

I heard some really bad comments on PSC so I hope now it will be better.

About the anime...I don't like it yeah...but if they wanted to do an opening...I think that there are better animes...I am not against anime, a lot of people I know watch it...I just don't watch it all the time...when I hear there is a good one I take a look...what I really don't like is loooong anime series xD

Their new look is great. Kai looks different. Uruha with all that hair, I'm loving it. XD As for Reita, Ruki and Aoi, they all look awesome. XD

Oh yeah, about them moving out of PSC, I've read in LJ that the distributor for this single is Sony Music and not King Records (It's also said so on cdjapan). So they're not actually moving out from PSC since it's a management company and not a recording company. I think they're just switching recording company but still being manage by PSC.

Ruki.. the best look he ever had
not a good picture of Aoi, but he finally has changed the necklace.
Uruha... I cannot see his face, only lips, but... omg, he is magnificent
the song sounds like summer, i like it, can't wait for the full version
