Feliz Complaenos Reita! today is also a friend of mine's birthday. yeah she was born on Reita's birthday, so Reita is the only member of gazette she actually likes.

yay so many ppl here can actually play & read music, on another gazerock forum i started a discussion based on stack rubbish (cause that albulm is god-awful) and everyone there hot-headedly disagreed so i figured they didn't know anything about how music is actually done and I was right.

if you feel the topics have been depressing how about this - which gazeman do you think would be the best dad? I think Reita and Kai would be awesome fathers. I think Ruki would be a strict parent if he had a girl but if he had a boy, he and his son would argue all the time cause they'd be too much alike. xD
 
It is kind of the same that the person who started this thread think NIL is godawful and on another forum people think DIM is horrid.
That is not a depressing :lol If I had said what a member died ex Ruki and they got a new singer that's depressing.
Aoi would be laid back but his temper , Kai is a plate thrower who would give his kids too much money , Uruha...............................................................................................................................no comment , I agree Ruki would be strict or he would know better from his childhood.

In all I think Reita would make the best dad.

well...to say that one album is awful is kind of...selfish...everyone is different and what one likes doesn't have to be good for another one...it is my opinion...yeah I don't play or read music...so in you're eyes I probably look like a barbarian girl who has no taste of music.

About fatherhood...it is not depressing at all!!! I would like to see their kids XD and the best father? I think that Kai XD

Well it`s stupid cause I think I will never be abel to play guitar...to much to remember I think but I really REALLY want to play it What do U think about it:?:?

@Axelle - not selfish. when stacked rubbish came out, most of the gazefans i know was like "that cd is ..........experimental.....uh different......." and in music slang "different" & "experimental" means what? that's awful. then a month later all those suck up ******* changed their minds. I won't change my opinion for nothing, from a musical standpoint, that albulm was made, composed, arranged and done horribly.

Ruki sound like he was trying to hit notes that he couldn't and was making a mockery of a previous style (such as the songs, Rich Excrement, Crucify Sorrow, Worthless War) he had already perfected. the guitars were just a screeching chaos, no melody, no tune, no body - nothing. all the songs except the singles sounded like demos rather than real songs. i still can't tell the difference between Gentle Lie and Calm Envy. and who ever the woman was singing with Ruki in every track got annoying real quick and the gazette is such bastards that they didn't have the decency to even put her name on the albulm.

Stacked Rubbish worst albulm ever. Girugamesh's Music is a close 2nd but NOW actually tops SR.

a friend of mine dislikes DIM but only because she said Ruki's voice was monotone and she didn't like that. even so, the music sound so much better. Stacked Rubbish sounded rush, they had a deadline to make and was pushed to release it early, they should have developed it more. It didn't sound like a real cd, more like a demo.

@Elric: I really appreciate your opinion...thank you that you told me...I always need more listening before i say that I like an album. And I like some songs from each album and some I don't listen to...eh...btw I can see that you also confuse Calm Envy and Gentle Lie x)...I read some reviews and I think people were confused with the whole album...I can only say that I like Filth in the beauty, Agony, Regret, Swallowtail on the death valley (kill me if you want but I just love the female vocals there, they are kind of joyful I think), Gentle lie (because live on DVD it was just great), and People Error and Burial Applicant.

@Property of Reita: I'd like to say Hi x)...I think I haven't seen you here since the time I've come. I'm a newby xD it is a pleasure to meet you...even though it's only in virtual way xD

@momo: you have to give me reports about your progress in playing the guitar xD

@Axelle you're welcome. I actually love Filth in the Beauty and Chizuru which is the longest song ever it seems, I walked 4 blocks listening to that one song! I was completely disappointed by the albulm.

@manju yep i have 4, two electric guitars, 1 acoustic, 1 electric bass guitar but i don't play them all. I was thinking of actually sending Aoi my acoustic guitar with a letter saying, "do something with this damned thing!"

mmmm old men? they are already old men according to Reita and Ruki.

According to Wiki Japan their new single's name is SHIVER and it's going to be the opening for an anime called Black Butler.
 
Kuroshitsuji? I know the first season...pretty good I think. I like the victiorian dark atmosphere of the series. I am watching it lately.

Oh my gosh...I have just seen hilarious video from one Czech programme...there are interesting things all around the world and there was a news about visual kei...the comment was totally wrong and I couldn't believe they could say something like that XDDD..I'd love to send a link to youtube but it's completely in Czech and so I think you wouldn't understand it...well when I shorten it...the reportage was about teenagers in Chile, that they have found a new horrible style originally form Japan. And more that they call themselves "visuál" and that it's damn expensive and so on...another style in Chile is according to them "pokemons" ...I don't know...I din't know it is a style...they listen to reggae or something...so the comment said...as I said it was hilarious and disgusting at once...sorry I just had to mention it...

@Kyous Elric: I don´t like SR as well. Chizuru is ok, however I don´t even like Filth, but that´s just me. It IS their worst album

folks, I spend my saturday at JapanTag (J-day) in Duesseldorf. Last year there were some really nice Gazette cosplays there, but this year not (only some..ehm..no ofence, too overweight girls stuck in costumes )
 
omfg kuroshitsuji, really?! I watched the first episode of that series and was completely turned off to it! I don't wanna hear them on that anime, I wanna hear them on a good anime! however Kuro is a bit shonen ai so maybe it's someone's way of saying something to the gazette *coughs*aoi&uruha*coughs* well at least now they'll have a real reason to appear in the anime magazines. Like when Alice9 did the theme song to Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's (which sucks btw).

@manju yeah sadly there was no real kiss between them no matter how much we want it to be true.

so that doesn't explain Uruha's sudden coldness towards Aoi. But I don't think that they even know what's happened between them.

@ol thanks, I'm glad that someone else realizes the horribleness of that cd.

new single called Shiver, hmmm? what's with the sick theme Ruki has going on in the titles of his songs? Nausea&Shudder, Distress&Coma, Bathroom, Art Made By Vomit, Cassis (which is an alcoholic drink in Japan & drinking too much can cause all the other titles ^), Headache Man. Really man, I wonder if Ruki has noticed that. xD but I can't wait to hear it, I just got a new mp3 player so i need my classic visual kei bands on it. so i'm waiting on the release of new singles to put on there.
 
I don´t believe the anime thing until they don´t announce it officially. Gazette is not an anime band (though Laruku did OP for FMA, right, but still...)
 
that's not how anime themes and japanese bands work Olosta. The director of an anime usually asks a band to make a theme song for the show or they get permisson from the record label to use an already existing song for a theme. and Laruku has done a lot of anime themes, not just the FMA songs. usually 60% of rumored anime themes are true so i believe it but I refuse watch that show again so i won't even see it.
 
kyous: please don´t teach me,, I know and I didn´t mean it how you understood it. I think it may be because english is not my first language
of course I know how it works. But there are bands that do anime songs and there are bands that just don´t fit the image. And Gazette falls in the latter category. Because anime has a questionable reputation in Japan and we all know Ruki wants to do only serious business and not be associated with fanservice or anime fanbase.
But of course, it is possible they will do it, however I will believe it when it is announced officially and not on Wikipedia (I am really curious about the sources wiki used)
 
i think doing an anime theme would be good for them. it's open exposure to their music, if laruku never did anime themes, i wouldn't have found out about jrock or visual kei in general.

About the anime...I have a bad habit when I watch an anime I have to know how it ends...not only anime but also films...it is really a torture when the film is awful. You are right Kuroshitsuji is kind of shonen ai...one girl sent me a link to it when I said I don't like yaoi and similar stuff, she said it's alright so I tried it. I think there are worse anime series. This one has a nice atmosphere of victorian London though the plot is not so special or clever.
I have to agree that Gazette don't seem to be an anime band for me and yes, it looks like they want to be more serious about their work which I really appreciate. It is true that wikipedia isn't one of the most serious source of information...so let's wait for official anouncements about their new single.

People said that Ruki posted about that anime OP rumor in his blog and that he was upset about it. He also said that it is not true and that they are not an anime band. There was a rumor way back that they were doing a Yu Gi Oh OP called I am Crimson
Lots of bands in Japan seem to want to avoid the Otaku band status. I have never seen that anime though I have seen sets of it.
That kiss never really did bother me but that photograph's timing was amazing you actually thought they did it. It looked as though when Aoi raised his hand he saw Uruha's one and put his back down.

@Axelle- I think it's called Reggaeton.It does seem disgusting but I know a gazE fan from Chile so idk.I would like to see the video please . I don't mind the language barrier .
