Hey peeps, I'm back
I wasn't gone for as long as I thought I would be.
Everything is pretty much taken care of.
Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and prayers, it is very much appreciated.

i heard that it was in front of a train station somewhere in tokyo and that either
A) it was an illegal concert hence ruki being dragged off stage
or
B) it was legal but they were only expecting a few hundred to show up but somewhere around 7,000 showed up. so they had to get the boys off stage because of a safety issue.

Who knows.

@luc forgot this in my last post but i love your drawing of ruki!

and i got more info on that live thing from oricon

it was in shinjuku station square and they were only expecting like 250 people to be there to watch it. but by the time the live got started 7,000+ people were there.

so after two songs the police had to shut it down because they thought it wouldn't be safe to continue w/the live. in the end the fans ended up CRYING for an encore and never got one. poor fans.

this isn't in the article in oricon but people are hearing that the gazeboys almost got arrested O.O

and too bad to the fans, I would be so upset, if it happens to me and Gazeboys were almost arrested? Im imagining now that they were fighting back the police but thank God nothing bad happens to them

um, i was thinking about why he wrote president instead of Baby. May be because to fit the song:? I mean president is 3 syllables while baby is just 2 and it seems that the 3 songs are about social problems, right? all of the songs express anger. Plus Ruki is interested in news and the things that happen around him.
So i say may be he chose "baby" just to fit the song and the melody.

Ya can see more on gazette media ... ~ 7000 fans ~ wow .. so ya guys think that a huge number for a SECRET live just with 2 songs and police said " So dangerous if this live keep countinue ~" YE ~~~~~~

B) is right.
The place where they held the concert wasn't meant for so many fans.
So the police told them to stop because it wasn't safe for the fans.
Ruki is the onle one dragged off, because he didn't notice that the other members already knew that they have to leave the stage.
There are staff members near Uruha, Aoi, Reita and Kai.
But no staff member near Ruki.
And also, Ruki didn't hear anything from what the staff members tried to tell him (you must know: tons of screaming fans + the ear phones = of course he didn't know anything and was confused).

Otherwise, the guys did a really good job on the stage.
I guess they all were disappointed, that they had to cancel the concert.
I mean, they planned something big (as you might know, manager-san made big advertising for it on MySpace saying "surprise, surprise" and "the last brave thing in the year 2008" etc.)

I hope they're ok, and not too sad about all that.
I'm sure they will show their "braveness" (whatever Manager-san meant with that) sometime soon.

Whoever said they were in jail because of that:
WRONG! (as far as i know this is just a rumour)

We can't blame neither Manager-san nor the Gaze-guys themselves 8what a few stupid people did -.-), because it wasn't their fault.
The police underestimated the amount of fans that would come, so it's police fault, because they allowed them to hold the concert there.
When they noticed that they were wrong, they shut down the concert.


AND:
I also wondered why Ruki sings "Baby" although it's written "President".
But i also think, that he changed President to "Baby", so that it fits the melody.
But he kept "President" in the lyrics to show everyone what he really wants to say.

Totally agreed. The blame should be put on the policemen, they should expect that there would be lots of fans since Gazetto are one of most popular bands in Japan

funkykitty Thank you for those pics with Ruki and the red eyeliner.I'm glad to see yours are a more clear than the one i tried to make for myself,well..the video dosn't have a good quality and that ruins all the Ruki prettyness.
A friend told me long time ago to try red eyeliner cause it looks totally cool,but now that i see on Ruki (which looks so great with it.O_O ) i'm more decided to buy one.XD

Ohh ...the surprise....lots of fans where so excited and nervous what was about and i remember that the atmosphere got even worst when they knew it was a concert in Shinjuku area.
I'm glad that now i know what happened there..i saw how upset where some fans but i didn't knew the reason.So many people... Poor Ruki! I would be conffused me too if i was into him place.Too bad that the surprise had to be canceled.That makes me a little sad because i bet the guys wanted to do something nice.But at least they tried and i'm sure that they were surprised to see that it turned out like that.
I would have cried too if i was there,but even if everyone was so full of energy and excited to see about the surprise,i was so calm and almoust like not care that much, just reading the comments of the fans,because if i would have thought too much about it i would got depressed because i'm not in Tokyo.This is life. Never fair...

and that secret live...I just can't understand how could the organisers & the police underestimate the safety of both the band and the fans...and well I still am surprised they were expecting about 250 fans ☝ well Gazetto is (I think) too "big" to have less then 1000 people even if on a secret live but I hope everyone is OK...I feel sorry for all of them poor gazeboys and poor fans...
