Well I guess people are just affraid of something different... but it's cool to be different... >.< hehe
TOday they started looking on my laptop...
I was working and 3 people were looking at what I was doing...
And I hate being watched while making PHP scripts...
So I just opened the first photobucket on my internet browser... and started looking at pictures... They just start commenting like mad... o.0 I was like "shut the hell up... and leave me alone already"
My perfectly fangirl mode ruined... hehe >.<

I'm very lucky. My friends don't care I listen to Jrock, so they don't give stupid comments. They are more like: it's not my taste, but I can see why it's yours. And they admit the gaze-men (and some other Jrockers) are very good at what they do.

The people that think I'm weird and stuff don't really know I listen to Jrock, so they don't give stupid comments as well. XD

Only my brother does....and my mom simply doesn't like this kind of music, not in Japanese and not in english. My dad likes some songs....so they're really cool about it. (except my nii-chan, but I know he doesn't mean to hurt me or something)
 
wow!..I don't think I've experienced something like that, people here likes to make jokes and everything but...I just don't get how some people can say such mean things about a band they know nothing about, and even if they know their music and still hate it, why can't they respect someone else's tastes?
 
Some people can be so sucky. I think people just learn to not bother me because if they do diss the way VK bands look I just go into a long-winded explanation of what VK is and why it is so important and how without bands like X Japan the visual side of rock probably wouldn't be the same, lol. I did a little part of an old art project on Visual Kei so I know a little, lol. Not much but enough to bore the hell out of people who dont care (in other words, most of the Western world).
But I think the only thing anyone has ever said to me was "she looks cool" (about Miyavi...it was a girly picture, lol) and "that's a man?" about Jaejoong from DBSK (I'm not a huge pop fan but I love them, lol. They have great voices).
One of my friends agrees that Kai has lovely smile, though, lol.

So...a response to any calling VK guys gay..."VK is a genre, a visual style, much like black metal bands and Lordi. They don 'costumes' and wear make up as a visual style, as part of their performance. They look feminine as part of their act. What's Gerard Way's excuse?"
Or just tell them that Gwen Stefani wouldn't have such a strong visual style if it wasn't for bands like them. And L.A.M.B. probably wouldn't have existed...
Failing that, I hear ******-punching is quite effective. Though I don't condone violence in any way...


Any news on the new single? I'm desperate to hear it. They just keep getting better. And I hope they come to England again soon...like the North of England. Us northern fans deserve some attention!
 
@FrostPixie No news about the single! I'm waiting for the cm to come out, but I don't know when it does and if someones gonna record it lol I do wanna see if they are really in it themselves XD

I'm soooooo happy, someone bought me 2 signed Reila portraits (Ruki and Aoi), Cassis type A (CD + DVD) and the new Fool's mate with gazette on cover from yahoo japan auctions I can't wait to get them!

Usually, I ignore the comments I get (or if I know them, I punch them and tell them they haven't experienced what life truly is yet).
I get the "hey, there's the lesbian with the gay jrocker shirt with the nekkid girl on it" look a lot. At first, I was all "noooooo D: *cries*" but now, everytime I get it, I just wiggle my eyebrows at them and they run away like headless chickens!

HITSUGI: If you don't kick them, I will! Who cares if there are five of them?!?

Stuck with gazette in a confine place...can be a lot....however I might just stop breathing and that would be bad xDD

If someone would say in my face something bad about the jbands,i probably give him/her a punch in the face.I wouldn t let them to talk like that about my favorite music.It s so stupid when people say bad things about a band that they didn t even listen a song of them.

we should not care much about those people that think we are weird/satanic coz even if they disagree with what we like they cant make us hate the jrock bands that we listen to.i mean as long as we are happy it is none of their business,who needs those narrow minded vermins.they can say that they are gay/hideous/satanic and soo what..their opinion doesnt matter
