Gazette

tsukiko-chan: (8:21 - im loving Uru-chans coat )

me and a friend were talking about singing happy birthday to kai at all different times during the show but i dont think we will - we might scare him ^^
and i live quite close to london anyways, i just dont go there a lot

i dont think the balloons is such a good idea but the card is so awesome, im sure lots of people will want to sign it!

*suddenly interested*
And, um...where did you get this magazine?

I'm lucky enough to have a japanese bookstore/music store in my town, they have all the latest jrock cd's and magazines plus manga all from japan it's really awesome =]

THE THREAD IS BEING EATEN~ XD But you guys DO post a lot.

Aoi-Luver: Nice to meet you~ I'm Kei. ^^ *bows* Welcome to the the thread. I've only read your posts and you sound awesome already. Psh, straightness is overrated; I'm not completely straight either. But shhh....no one else knows...except for maybe one person. *shifty eyes*
I WILL FIGHT YOU FOR AOI-SAN! XD Teehee~

Aslira: Please don't forget? XD I hope you have fun at the concert~ I'm insanely jealous but insanely happy that the GazettE is coming out of Japan again.

Lola-chan: You're right! it's the listening that counts. Fans are fans. I've actually liked Gazette for a really long time. Since their [DISORDER] album came out. Well...two months after it came out. I found them on New Year's Eve. ^^ So...two and a half years?

As for the drawings, don't overwork yourself! Take your time, I think we'll all be too engrossed in the upcoming GazettE concerts to really nag you about it as we will for a live report....that sounded really selfish; I'm sorry.

FROSTPIXIE: Make a GIANT card. Like...outta a giant posterboard or something and then have everyone you meet at the revenue sign it. XD Or you can buy him a little something, wrap it and toss it onto the stage at the end. If they allow that...

Anyways, the reason why GazettE might not play in the US is not only because of the wackout girl's fanmail, but also because of how rude the fanbase of a lot of American bands can get.
Recently, MUCC was basically BEAT UP by Guns n' Roses fans because they were the opening act. And MUCC is pretty popular, so maybe the GazettE is being scared of treated the same way? I don't know. T.T But that report made me really sad.

Hah, I remember reading about a Nightwish gig once...during the song 'Nemo' (Finnish for 'nothing' I think :S) a fan threw a blow-up fish onto the stage and Tuomas picked it up and put it on his keyboard like a trophy .
Anyway, I just thought of something. I saw it on a Supernatural fansite but I've heard of fans of celebrities/bands do it before. Basically some fans created a website where people could submit pages to form a scrapbook that they sent to the celebrity in question for their birthday. The pages had stuff like messages from fans and fanart, pictures, etc. on them. I thought that was pretty cool .
I am also reminded of an interview with I think Slayer (might have been a band supporting them...actually, it probably was) when they said that gigs in the US were more...intense than elsewhere. Like how the pits usually got out of control and stuff. And there was the Iron Maiden deal at Ozzfest. And the rude 'fan' in that case was Sharon Osbourne!
But what? Like literally beat up or metaphorically?
Maybe Gazette don't want to play as a support act. Maybe they think their fanbase in Europe is more fitting for headlining gigs? Judging by the Finnish deal I think their fanbase here is...um...fitting for headlining gigs. Something like JRock Revolution would be perfect for them . It gives them a chance to test their fanbase and to please their American fans .

EDIT: This is incredible, lol.
"RECORD": THE GAZETTE CONCERT IN FINLAND TOTALLY SOLD OUT IN JUST 6 MINUTES
(posted 23.7.2007)

After only 6 minutes of tickets sale the "The GazettE" Concert in Helsinki/Finland on 2007/10/30 is totally sold out! Also for the concerts in Cologne on 2007/10/21 and LONDON 2007/10/27 there are just a few tickets left right now.

They must be so happy, lol. I don't think anyone expects to sell out that quickly (or even at all!) their first time playing in a country unless they are HUGE. Considering that everytime I say 'Gazette' someone thinks I'm talking about a newspaper, they aren't exactly 'huge' over here.
Maybe next time they will do a bigger European tour? Let's give them all a big friendly welcome so as not to scare them away, lol.

MUCC wasn't literally beat up. That would be bad.

But Tatsurou, the vocalist, had to get down on his knees and tell them to please just bear with them until G+R finished getting ready. I mean, that just disgusts me.

GazettE's fanbase here is pretty BIG. You go to forums, you find people screaming about Gazette from the US, etc. I mean, I'd totally go if they came here. ^^

Maybe next time, they'll decide to come to America; it's pretty much the same distance away. >.> Please, Gazetto!?

I remember when GnR played near me (my friend went), the fans were probably pretty close to beating Axl up because he refused to come onstage until he had eaten a three course cooked meal or something. The support band (BFMV) played more songs so the fans weren't left standing waiting, which I thought was pretty cool of them and has improved my opinion of them.
And another band (either Slayer or an act supporting them) stated how crazy American rock fans were and that the pits got way out of control.
But I think it's just disrespectful to treat a support band like that. I have seen weak support bands but people jumped around and cheered and stuff and when the band left the stage people were turning round and saying "they were crap", lol. You don't have to like them but you can at least respect them and what they do. It takes a lot of guts to play infront of an audience who didn't come to see you and have probably never heard of you before.

I wonder who will be supporting the GazettE...*thinks*. Hmm... Label buddies? Country buddies? A random band they picked up on their travels?
At least the GnR effect shouldn't happen with the GazettE. Those guys (Gazette) seem to really care about their fans. And I'm not being biased. Some of the bands I like aren't that nice to their fans and one of them lost a large group of fans due to things they said.

thats what i thought they said... about it being rude... where is that interview? my cousin told me about it, but she forgot where she found it. -____-

Puh... I guess it was a japanese one, cause my friend send me this translated part, when we talk about this rumor some weeks ago. I´m not sure if she translate it for me, or if she found it somewhere. I will ask my friend what interview it was, so I can search for a translation... Or ask for one...

@Yuna001 --- would you be able to send me that interview if you are able to find it??????? Thanks...
@anyone who's lucky enought o go to a gazettE concert.... don't forget to give full reviews and comments about the concerts...PLEASE?!!!!

When I read what happened to MUCC at the GnR I got so mad I had to leave my computer.

I don't blame a lot of Jrock bands for not coming to America in all honesty- if I was them, I really wouldn't want to come here as much as I would want to go to Europe.

@Aoi-luver: The battle begins~ But...but I've loved Aoi-san for two and half years! And the way he talks, the way he spins around, the way he makes jokes at sometimes the wrong times, how he's so generous and kind...T.T I want him more than you! *cries*

@hara Kei: No, I love everything about him, the way he plays he guitar, the way he goes through life, I love everything he do! He is so nice, and he has this look about him. He is very sexy, and wild! Dory and cute! I like way he talks, and walks, and many more things... I will devot life to him if I have to...

OMG! Sold out in 6 mins??!! That's so awesome!! *claps*

Hara_Kei: Yea, they haf a really large fan base x33 So it's really hard to go to every place... I think they shud do a world tour in the near future xDD

@Ruka: GazettE's fanbase is larger than they'll ever think. A world tour sounds really nice~ ^^ I'd go to every concert I could see.

@SaphireKONKON & KURO: Nuuu~ Don't hide. *plate of cookies*

@EVERYONE: Humor me; if I had blond/brown hair, would I look like Uruha in this picture? One of my best friends said I did and after a while of scrunitinizing and pushing away my ego, I don't really believe her so I need your opinions on it.
http://s157.photobucket.com/albums/t48/calorie-zero/?action=view&current=3452456.jpg

*looks at cookies* hehe yes yes Aoi is untouchable, too much awsomeness 8DDD oh well xDD
@Hara_Kei - your face shape/structure xD well ionno something looks very similar, i can see what your friend see's ^^

@HaraKei: You do look a little bit like Uru on that picture. But the problem with Uruha is that his face is very unique...so it's sort of impossible to look exactly like him..

@Kuro No Panda: teehee....funny picXD

HaraKei: Nice pic and i think because is make in the same mod like the Uruha one make your face to look like him !!!

Gazette sold out in 6 minutes!? *claps*

I'm so glad to hear that.

HaraKei: Your face shape is a bit like Uruha's.

Hara_Kei: Yea, I think u kinda look like Uruha too x33

Kuro no Panda: LOL that pic xD

I agree with Aoi-Luver, both of you guys do look like Uruha... sugoi!!!!

This may be an stupid question but... if you were to call the gazemen (via phone) would you actually be able to talk to them....or is it only staff people who answer callls??????? I know, it's weird but if I could talk to Uruha just once...... I'll be able to leave this place happy...
