@Ruu Haha, no sorry, I have no idea where that is
. I'll (hopefully) be living in York at the time but my friend is going to university in Newcastle (where I live now...well, ok, my current town's sister-city) so my mum suggested that I come back up on the Friday, stay with her on the Friday night then go down with my friend on Saturday morning (London is about 4 hours away by train). But if I have a late lecture/seminar/class/whatever on the Friday night, I'll have to go from York and try and arrange it so that I get on the same train as my friend.
Ok, so I wasn't a HUGE fan of Gazette when I bought the DVD
. I had recently bough Youjeen's 'best of' and therefore used up my 300 registration points on CDJapan so I didn't buy anything by them and when I got bored I typed their name into Amazon and whadd'ya know? They had NIL and NLSG. So I ordered them both and started panicking, thinking "oh no, what if I already have their best songs? What if the album's crap and I'm stuck with the DVD". NIL was awesome but it was really their live performance that sucked me in. I haven't been that amazed by a live DVD since I saw Rammstein's Live Aus Berlin DVD (awesome concert, best I've seen).
But do you know what my mam said about Reita?!?! She said "He looks like a tit with that thing over his nose". So I got mad and made a huge speech about visual kei and individual style and how she noticed him first so he stood out, yadda, yadda. I think she regretted saying anything by the time I'd finished, lol. She hasn't said anything about anyone I like since. Except she does like to say "he does look a bit like a girl" about Gackt. But she has to like Gackt. It's because of Gackt that I discovered Hey! Hey! Hey! and now she's in love with Downtown, hehe.
She did say that Kai was cute, though. And she watches the Hiro Nakamura scenes in Heroes because of me (Masi Oka is amazing, I love Hiro). And she thought that Ruki's neck make up was a tattoo. When she asked and I said no she said "I didn't think so, it's mainly gangsters that have tattoos in Japan". I was sorely tempted to show her a picture of Miyavi, lol. Oh, wait, I did. The kitten pictures. There's one massive contradiction right there.
But she was the same when she was younger. She told me about how she got grounded once for sneaking out to a concert and how her neck is now bad from headbanging and how she wishes they had all the gothic clothes they had now when she was younger. And she keeps stealing my CDs! She offered to go to see Rammstein with me if my friends didn't want to go! Heh, my mam's awesome

So far I got TWO of my friends into the GazettE, Dir en grey, Alice Nine (only got one of them into them) and X Japan (one of them had already heard of them so...
). They're both guys, as well. Most of my female friends don't like anything that's not in English...unless it's Rammstein and they took GCSE German.
Urgh, 4:50am. It's freaking LIGHT outside.
