I really really really want to go. I'd like to see the blimp and Mei & Satsuki's house, among other things. We'll see if I get to Japan in time before it ends.

There's a petition in Japan to move Mei & Satsuki's house to a (nearby?) town permanently afterwards, since apparently it's pretty hard to get tickets. That would be terrific if you ask me.

Lena my wife and I just got back home from Japan last week and we went to Expo for one day.
It is like any other expo that I have been to and its not that it is so big as much as there are so many people trying to see the exibits. So yes you can get a four ticket discount and go for 4 days or get a seasons pass if you will be in the area for a length of time.
BUT plan on standing in line for long periods of time to see the hot venues.
You can buy tickets for the pavillions and this would be recomended.
then at least you know you can get in after standing in line for three hours.
Good luck
