I'm shocked to see that this amazing rock-band doesn't have it's own thread yet. I feel like they should be recognized the same as AKFG is. Yet, a big difference between both is that ELLEGARDEN mainly has English (sometimes full of mistakes but they are improving) songs.

I have so many of there song that i cant even count them great band afew of my favorite songs are Ash,Salamander,and Space sonic.

There is something about their music that makes it so addicting. The first time I listened to this band, I got instantly hooked. XD
 
since the singer speacks english very well i thought many people here in america knew them....wait nvm alot do.

yeah and Ellegarden knows other cool bands like Bump Of Chicken, Straightener, The Pillows, AKFG and many more thats so awesome!!

my favorite song is "A Thousands Smiles" <-- love is voice in this song
I also love the song "Niji", Takeshi voice is so cute!
I wish i would have known about their concert in LA

ELLEGARDEN is now recording a new album.
They haven't announced the release date yet,
but it will be no later than summer!
 
^ Would it be something a little bit different?
But, whatever it ill be, I'm sure we'll like it.

and yea... a lot of people sometimes forget that jrock=/=visual kei... but there are bands that are good apart from the vk ones, and its sad when people miss out

im excited about the album! thank you guys!
 
ah yes grest bands that are not visual kai well there's ASIAN KUNG FU GENERATION, Straightener, Ellegarden, the pillows, Acid, Acid man, acid android,Abingdon boys school.....lets just say alot
 
ELLEGARDEN is suspending activities.
No new album.

ELLEGARDEN has been in the process of creating a new album since last year, However, during the band's activities, there arose a difference in opinion regarding the motivation for creating a new album. We no longer feel we are able to create an album that we would be satisfied with, and after much discussion we arrived at the conclusion to end the creation of the album and suspend the band's activities indefinitely.

Whether the band will resume activities at a future point has yet to be decided.
All previously decided shows (including shows not yet announced) up until early September 2008 will still be performed.

We want to thank everyone who has supported ELLEGARDEN from the bottom of our hearts. In order to once again create new music as ELLEGARDEN, each of us wants to work on our own personal growth and development. Thank you for everything.
 
Well at lease there not disbanding but man this is gonna suck they may not make another song until late 2009.
