Does China have high context culture?

I know it is late to answer now. But Chinese is high context culture. For example, if I said in Chinese:"America is defeated totally by China "or "China is totally defeated by America", both of the sentences only mean America was defeated by China. If you want to express American win in Chinese, then you should not use positive adj. or adv. in the sentence. Chinese's grammar is quite free. Because in Chinese almost all the factors could be used to express the meaning. This is also why Chinese text is much shorter than that of English with the same meaning.
