I haven't seen anything about this posted here, so I thought I would share the good/bad news.

BLOOD is not disbanding. You can read more about it @ JaME America.

PIERROT is disbanding. The news is on their official site.
 
I was really sad to hear the news about Pierrot. Actually, here is where I heard about it first (in the 'j-rock randomness' section), and yeah... I'd only just started to get into them. I had a whole load of their music, but it didn't really grab me, then the other day Key Word (from the Pandora no Hako album) came up on shuffle and I fell in love with that song! The bass... So... mmm... they disband just as I become to know them...
 
They're one of my favorite bands, so it was like a slap in the face when my friends told my a couple of houres ago....
 
I don't listen to either bands haha, but I thought there would be people here who'd like to know. I've never checked the j-rock randomness thread. Other threads are already getting random enough that I decided to steer clear of that one haha. I just didn't see an active BLOOD, PIERROT, or news thread, so I didn't think it had been announced yet.
 
Yeah, well, the randomness thread is.... random. Ehe. But... I did write something relating to Zero in it... *pokes Normphobic towards randomness thread*

I'll send you Key Word... I don't even know if I like their other stuff! I just love that one song!

I'm glad Blood aren't disbanding - maybe I will eventually get the chance to see them live. I think they had some mileage in them to improve, so it's good news.

There used to be a news thread somewhere but it sunk without trace... we need something like that. Like for new/upcoming releases and stuff. :?
 
I heard about Blood not disbanding, but I hadn't heard about Pierrot. I really liked them for a while, but I sort grew out of them. It is still sad.

Aww... Kinsao... you just missed them. My friend saw them in Finland this past Saturday.
 
I know - they were coming to the UK, and I was going to see them here, but then it was cancelled.
 
hey coshh... would it be troublesome to send me key word too?? ive never heard that song.. i have heard a couple of others tho... and they were pretty spiffy.. and i did go through a pierrot phase tho... but i dont think i was really a BIG BIG fan of theirs... still, if it wouldnt be too much trouble.. please =)
 
Jun and Akito (I don't know if I spelt his name correctly or even got it right) are responsible for Pierrot disbanding.
 
It's Aiji And they all have tried to make it work for a long time, but eventually Aiji and Jun gave up. And Takeo and Kotha wouldn't replace them with someone else. so...

Thank you Another reason they disbanded is because both Aiji and Jun want to work on solo projects.
 
Smiley Skeleton made me love them..I have around 20? or so songs by them now.
