i feel like such a bad person, that i've downloaded most of the jrock i own.
but, i do however, plan on buying everything in its original form..
eventually, when i get the money and everything.
i'm trying to find places and make sure they aren't bootleg.
 

good job!!! i hate DL music but i do it to sample the stff ^_^ and i hate it when people ask me to upload stff for them T_T i never do it i just direct them to a tornberry lol
 
HmmM... question... right now i'm in the habit of collecting JRock magazines. I was wondering if D'espa was ever on the cover of any. I know that they're usually featured in a lot of the magazines.

But man, even if they were on the cover i'm sure it'll be a pretty backdated issue and hard to get.
 
i THINK i've seen them on the cover of an issue, but i honestly can't remember which magazine.
i know they weren't on any one of the Cure issues this year at least, but whatever. haha. i don't remember.

i also scanned a flyer, front and back, that i got from the Megacon show.

^ OooH that's pretty lol! I only got one of their posters when I went to CBGB. At least its from my favorite D'espa photoshoot...the white outfits! I really do need to find more D'espa pics.
 
i got a pretty nice sized poster for free from that show, too.
it's like the one in the second pic but it's just them.
it's pretty nifty.
they wrote a number on the back when i bought the ticket for the 'front' part of the...whatever it is. i can't think right now..
you know..to be up front.

hahah i have those flyers too the small one is on the outside of door underneath my name in Kanji lol and the other one with Trashligh vision and the other band is on the back of my door lol

^ Ugh photobooks are sooo expensive! Right now I'm going crazy over collecting Gazette photoshoots in magazines.

But I really want some D'espa ones. Too bad they were never really on a cover of a magazine. Do they have any photobooks? (I have a feeling that the answer is no)

i was actually thinking last night that i'd love to see one put out by them.
i bet it would be pretty amazing.
 
^Yea I think so too. I was watching clips of their photoshoot. They are so adorable. Hehehe they're always joking around.

that's something i'd really like to do someday.
take photos of bands.
even if not professionally [in a studio], i'd love to just go to shows and take live photos.
i want to start my own jrock magazine for the states.

im earning an associate's in photography, so it'd be cool to do that.

And from their earlier works Garnet, Yami ni furu kiseki, oboro no tsuki....the list goes on.

But I don't think i'm anywhere near having all of D'espa's discography. Where'd you get it?

And YAY! My Coll:set was just shipped out!
I'm thinking about getting BORN next. Or maybe another one of their singles or mini albums. Which would you guys recommend?
 
my favourites are Garnet, Fuyuu shita risou, Forbidden, Born, Reddish [Diva version], and the three from their new single which includes Kogoeru Yoru ni Saita Hana, MAZE, and PIG. :]

^Once again i'm jealous.

I really should have went to AnimeNext but I didn't feel like travelling to Jersey. (i'm so lazy considering how it was pretty close to me). But I think the major reason why I didn't go was because I didn't have anyone to go with. I would have been one lost little lamb.

And BTW tokyohoney you live in NYC? Yay! Did you go to CBGBs or Avalon?

HAHAAH yea that nipple question was really funny. I remember when HArry was telling me and my friend about it on Sunday while we were in line for autographs lol we were even like just hearing it haha. They guys seem like WHOA COOL when they saw it but they really werent haha Harry was telling me and my friend that they were really like creeped about it lol. That happened literally 5 mins b4 me and my friend want to see them odd lol

hmm my fav d'ray song i would have to say is yste[m] i love that song and i also love Yami ni... and well never mind i love them lol
