omg is this in confliction with the deg family values tour!?!?!? OMG T_T im gonna kill myself if it is....ill somehow manage to go to both

and i think despa likes america too
 
No, it isn't in conflict with the Family Values tour. FV is in late July/early August, and D'espa is in June.

I'm reeeally excited. Hehe, so has anyone been to an anime convention before? I never have, so I'm not sure what to think... haha XDD
 
im going to my first one in about... 25 days!! i dont know what to expect too =P
but i cant go to this =( ahh depairs ray =) be a dear and come to la again =)

That is one event I will make sure my mother is not in the room for XD (she is a huge d'espa fan...this may be difficult)
 
I want to go so bad. I keep on missing them, last time I had my ticket, hotel room but coudn't go cause of a family emergency. Hell I almost missed the Dir en grey concert, cause I got a flat tire. Ah but damn I can't go. What day is the concert on. If its that Friday can't make it. If its that Sunday I could go but it makes no sense to go to pay $50 for a con badge when I won't get to enjoy the full con.
 
Haha...Anime conventions...saying you've never been to one before is a good thing! Picture all the dorky kids you knew in school, and put them together in one building. That about sums it up! I only went to an Anime convention to see D'espairsRay. If it wasn't for seeing a Jrock band I'd probably never have stepped foot into one of those things. It was worth it, though! It was one of the most interesting weekends I ever had. I don't think I ever laughed so much before.

I can think of a couple reasons why D'espa like America lol...
 
lol. it's horrible >__< i'm very tempted to go to US again for Despa. ahh the temptation T____T it's hard to picture myself at an anime convention concert.. cosplayers in the crowd lol..
 
Anime conventions are a bit interesting, but I like them. I go mainly for the dealers room sometimes they have alot of good stuff, but other times they sell alot of bootlegs.
And yea, D'espairsRay has realized what other bands haven't, that its good money. I mean how many times have they come over in the past year, I wouddn't be surprised if on every single tour they have they will have an american date or two.

And I haven't heard the new singles yet, but I have been tempted to buy them I hear everybody raving about them so I guess I will. That is when my pockets stop hurting.
 
Haha, yeaah. I'm thinking it would be fun to people watch at an anime convention... I like people watching >.>;;

Oh, and the new singles are really good Nana, in my opinion.
 
weet........ T_T has anyone registered for a badge yet? and its being held pretty close to my house......mapquest says..... 44 mins 37 miles....and with the way i drive.......lets say.......hopefully under 30 mins?

and iv never been to an anime convention either........... x_x i wonder if they will have initial d arcade machines there.......ill be playing that all day haha

I've never been to an anime convention in my life... considering I know nothing about anime, XD. I'd definitely make an exception for D'espa, though!
 
My friend had the new issue of shoxx and she posted the Hizumi pictures in her livejournal... I would give you the link to her journal, but livejournal is being a ***** right now, and not working for me. Weeeird. *hates computers*
 
That sucks, I really want to see them, and I probably won't go to the store to buy it until next week. How many photos of him are there? When I heard about the KanomaxIchiro shoot I was all excited and then it turned out to only be one photo (not that I'm complaining, but I had hoped there would be more)! What are the photos like? If I can't see them at least you could describe them for me to hold me over lol...

At least he doesn't have that haircut normally associated with emo...I think. I know next to nothing about the term 'emo', hahah.


I'll just say he looks...sleepy. Although what kind of person would go to sleep on the top of a building in the middle of the city?
 
Haha, I think technically the term "emo" can't even be used for people, I don't know, some people have written like 10 page essays on the topic.

I just use the term verrry loosely. Haha, Hizumi looks like he is thinking very hard in those pictures though, it's cute

Ahaha... while I was on vacation I kept seeing this advert somewhere... it was for a drink that had no sugar and no carbs in it, and in small letters it said "Zero sugar... Zero carbs" and in big letters on the main part it said "ZERO RESTRAINT" !! That put all sorts of nice thoughts into my head I can tell you...

Welll, they've played at anime conventions before so maybe the liked them, haha

Alsooo, at anime conventions, I think more people would be open to Japanese music, because they already like other forms of Japanese entertainment liiike anime. So, the language wouldn't put them off as it would other Americans. But, those are just my thoughts and yeaaah

Are you serious...? You do realize that Anime originated in Japan, and is influenced by Manga (Japanese comics). And, you're asking why a Japanese band would play an Anime convention?! Most cons have a musical guest... And, no...D'espairsRay haven't made a song for an Anime. Do you know anything about this band at all?

I doubt a band is going to prefer playing in a ballroom at some convention hall opposed to an actual concert venue. However, they will make a lot of money at a con and will have an opportunity to interact with fans, so I'm sure they enjoy that aspect of it.
 
whoa...did someone get something shoved up their *** pr something x_x jesus christ.....i was just wondering y they would play at a con rather then at a concert venue because it results in a different crowd.....it was just a simple damn question reguardless if anime orginated in japan....
