At MegaCon, one of the guys (who I'm assuming was in management) told us that cameras and photos wouldn't be allowed. It was pretty strict there.
 
no i took that off already ^_^ and i have a dray fan page too and i left a bulliton on there so people can take off their stuff i didnt take any of those pics i foudn them on peoples live journals. i deleted everything that i could delete that was posted my friend ana is contacting photobucket to give them a heads up. I tried to delete my other post but i cant i tried...
 
Okay thanks, it's appreciated! I know the managers are freaking out about it. Again just keep it all personal, there's nothing wrong with having the pictures and clips if you took them, just don't spread them all over the place!
 
yea im letting everyone noe right now and im about to email youtube to let them know whats going on, i also posted the news no the batsu forum so that they are aware of whats going on. But i was surprised how fast people were putting video on youtube. bc on friday night i was on youtube searching for a dray video i wanted to watch and i found clips from the concert, i was a little upset bc i saw hizumi's hair and their outfits so i was a little sad that the surpirse was ruined for me
 
For some reason it seems fans use the videos and pictures as bragging rights. They want to get home and upload it as soon as possible to shove it in peoples faces like "look what I got" I am sorry it was ruined for you! That sucks, it was definitely a nice surprise. People are acting so immature about this, can't they respect the bands management? People make me sick.
 
na its ok i wasnt using the pictures as brag rights lol i didnt take any pics of the concert i was to busy tryin to enjoy the concert and getting fangirls to stop pushing me onto the stage literally. yea, some people on this other forum im part of are complaining about taking the stuff down. They're saying that they never had a legal agreement with Jhouserock so why should they take it down. I think thats really stupid they should just take it down if they really want D'espairsRay to come back. And this one person from youtube uploaded over 30 different clips of the concert and i think its the entire New York concert...i emailed them to take it down and all the people that posted clips from the concert on youtube. That same guy added me as a friend on myspace and more then 4 people told him to take it down but he just wont do it. So i dont know what to do.
 
Oh I wasn't meaning you were bragging or anything by posting the pics. I meant the people who take them and go online right after the show and put it all over the www. I wouldn't worry about it too much. As long as it's know and posted on different places that should be good enough. I am sure JHRE will take care of it. They are aware of most of the places that have the videos and photos posted.
 
I was just pretty happy seeing photos of their LIVES but on youtube it's really insane how many videos of them there are...like its enumerated too...I didn't watch them tho, the quality:s too bad, I can bearly hear the song correctly XD Despa must be happy to see fans like you guys helping out Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY HIZUMI:cracker:
 
I still cant believe that someone uploaded almost the entire avalon concert up on youtube, thats just wrong. And there are WAY too many pictures floating around now, I admit, I have a couple but Im most deffinatly not going to upload them (and it was only going to be to my personal journal). I really dont think their managment would have minded maybe a few stray pictures up on the web but things just got way out of hand. I'm gonna start reporting too.

edit: and plus, wouldnt you think fans would rather wait to get good quality official concert photos and videos instead of illegal crappy quality ones? hmm
 
hmm thats true people are just impatient now a days...and seriously its insane how much is out there on youtube and for the pics too. Those people better take the stuff down. hmm and i wonder how much time Jhouserock is going to give the people to take their stuff down. and some one started taking down their videos on youtube so my emails are working ^_^

In Germany it was forbidden to have camereas OUTSIDE the store when they were doing a signing.
I agree it's bad to upload the entire concert on youtube and stuff, but I think j-rock management doesn't realize how much online (mostly pirate) media actually means to a bands popularity overseas.
Not saying that D'espas management is like that tho, but like PSCompany. They're being really nazi about band media and I think they ruin some of the chances for some of their indies bands.

I also doubt they would actually have the chance to sui people. Japans copyright laws are pretty strange...
 
Slightly off topic, but still DRay related. I had plans to go to the NY concert (bought tickets, reserved hotel room, reserved train ticket) but at the last minute something happened and I coudn't go. Now I am totally pished because my friends who are totally not into VK at all, they were at Megacon (Anime Fans) went to the concert. Now they are all like OMG OMG their was like this really cool band playing, they were so good...you should have come to megacon (I used to live in Miami, and I went last year when Psycho le Cemu played) you would have so loved it Nydia just your type of band...When they said that I was just like so mad. And then I am reading on the Internet about how awesome the show was and I am just like you know I should have been their...stupid family emergency.

I know alot of people are taking down their pictures and videos but I swear I wont be able to rest until that person on youtube takes down their 40-some odd videos...ugh

me too!!!! the person that has the 40 videos up is on my friends list on myspace and he refuses to take them down since he just uploaded them all and he's already gotten replys from alot of people to take it down but he wont

ok...is he mental? Does he realize that he could be ruining the chances of d'espairs ray ever coming back to america? He is screwing everything up for the real fans...let alone the fact that he is going to get in bigger trouble with d'espairs ray managment if he keeps them up, I'm sure thats how he wants to be looked at by the band.

As for that guy... someone needs to go to his house and knock on his door carrying a cigar cutter... that should solve the problem... I just hope whoever does is good at playing dodge the cops...

Honestly... personally pissing off a band you admire by intentionally disregarding their wishes doesn't seem like a good way to prove your devotion adn worth as a fan.

other than that I hope this topic dies off and that guy comes to his senses.

woo-hoo... I'm gonna pre-order the new DVD. I happened to get $50 today and I'll be getting another $25 soon for some work I did *cough*... lol. Nah... it was errands and housework I did for an old couple. Perhaps I can manage to afford them afterall XD
 
well i pre ordered them from www.cdjapan.jp it was in yen so the cds were about $12.99 each and total for both and including EMS shipping it came out to be $41.01 i preordered my dvd from www.jpophouse.com since they have a really good deal with the dvd if you preorder it b4 march 8th you only pay half price, so it came out to be including shipping $35.00 but since you live in New Orleans the shipping may be different
 
T_T i hope this doesnt stop despas from coming back.....i wanna see them again!!!!!!!!.........the avalon show totally kicked butt.......good thing i didnt up my video right?

im gonna end up getting the dvd anyways with my video or not.... they rock so much
