Cozyhouse

Hey!
Has anyone tried out cozyhouse? (http://www.cozyhouse.net) I'm looking into going, it looks perfect for me, but I was wondering if anyone has any warnings or praisings

Hmmmmm, the freebies and trips look nice but the house itself, as gaijin houses go, looks a bit... unclean. Cluttered.

Oh and very very small. In a gaijin house there are many people living there, so living space is at a premium. The kitchens, dining rooms and living rooms are TINY. Trust me, on a sunday night, when everyones cooking dinners and relaxing that can be a NIGHTMARE. Plus share-rooms? Ick.
Also this 'cultural exchange' idea bothers me a bit. Only because it sounds a little like you're expected to do so. eg work.

As I said the events and 'culture exchange' look ok, but as gaijin houses go it doesn't look too great.

Honestly I recommend and interwhao house (http://quick-house.com). I live in one.

They are clean, you get a private room of 6+ tatami mats in size plus a BIG closet (big enough to sleep in if your insane). The living areas (kitchen, bathroom, dining and living) are MUCh bigger than cozyhouse and they are cheaper.

Don't know about Cozyhouse but I'm at an Interwhao house and I wouldn't particularly recommend them. Kitchen is tiny although dining/common room is huge. NOT at all clean. Luckily there are supermarkets nearby for when we need the loo and clean showers when I go to the gym. Guess it depends what one you live in. The company itself is a bunch of lying so-and-sos.

The picture doesnt inspire me too much, I went to school in the exact same area as the Kita-ku cozy house, its a great area but I wouldnt pay what they ask when I could get my own place (not just a room) and share it for less in the same area.

Aobadai first house.

Sakura House are ok aswell, but small. And if you break anything, or if the stuff you get isn't left in perfect condition, you get charged heavily. And they aren't that polite. Basically they're all moneygrabbers. But they can afford to be, because housing is so expensive.
