except for another apologize, what could both of the countries do for the future? co-operation? or the ww3?



today, my university has announced the official inform through the live-vedio form that we the student should follow step of the governmental policy, any irrational behavior is prohibited, and it is not proper during this period. i hope the policy could really do some good for the tense between the two countries. can we require the "neighbour" do the same to indicate the hospitality?

I guess he means that the Chinese government is promoting the official policy of "no unruly demonstrations and rioting". (With the regard to the recent disturbances)

It would be nice to be completely honest. I'm not trying to offend you zth11111, but there's a show called The Daily Show with Jon Stwart, and a comedian by the name of Louis Black who made fun of the protests against Japan. Actually he made fun of all the protests that people have doing like in Isreal and Iraq. The point of the skit was to show that violent protesting is wrong, and that we as a world wide community should come to a solution without resorting to that type of behavior. While the show was poking fun of the protests, I do think the message is clear: we need to resolve this matter peacefully before things get out of hand. Sorry if I offended anybody with that joke. It wasn't me who came up with it, it was Comedy Central. I agree with you zth11111 there needs to be a peaceful solution made here. The last thing we need is more needless violence. Let's just hope that somebody can step in there between the two nations, play moderator, and help fix this problem before it gets worse.
