If there's any confusion, just hold the camera. If you've held both the Rebel and Rebel XT, you'll recognize the XT's lighter, more compact body. I'm also in the market for the Rebel XT, but don't have the disposable income at the moment.

Here in Finland cheapest price for 350D/Rebel/Kiss is 683 euros/857 US (body only) or 752 euros/944 euros with one lens. And those prices you get in Internet.

So japanese prices are quite cheap for me.

It looks like I have to buy a new camera during my trip. My pleasure!
