bunraku repair

Hello,

I would highly appreciate your advise and help on this matter.

I got on an auction a small bunraku puppet, in the pictures it seems that the only thing that was wrong was that the small piece of wood that hold the head was broken. It seems easy to repair to attach a new piece of wood and everything would be "ok"

Now that I receive it and looking more closely it seems that it has movement on eyes and in the mouth is evident, it's not so easy to repair because of this fact and you can see the strings it seems to be on it's place but this has to be checked by an expert that know about this.

I believe that it would be a wonderful puppet if it can be arranged, It seems that the movement is not afected and is it's arranged we can have the movement of eyes and mounth. It can be functional again.

I would highly appreciate if someone can please let me know as an expert on this matters if you know someone that can do this work.

Everybody knows that it's not easy to find this items so I would like to arrange it.

The size of the puppet is of more or less 62 cm. It's a samurai

TI don't know if anyone on this site are capable of repairing a bunraku puppet, but if you post some images of the damage perhaps we could help you out

it's hard to tell, even from the images, what needs to be done to repair the puppet. I did a google search and came up with these sites, maybe they have some info that could be useful:
