I went! I went! I went! ^_________________^
So I managed to get my friend out of work yesterday morning. I actually didn't think we were going, and it was my last attempt before I gave up. She ended up getting permission, and we ran to my room, changed, but the tickets, and took off to the bus station. We were at the gate minutes before it took off.
Ok, I'm not writing a full report on here... I'll write one later and post a link... and by later, I mean in the very far future... cause I always tend to not get around to writing them... -_-;
There were two opening bands. The first one was Ghost Orgy. They really sucked. The lead singer was off tune and sounded like a chicken getting murdered. They played for the longest half an hour I ever had to endure. The second band was something like Eddie's Grave, or something like that. The guy playing the bass was pretty good at it. The rest of the band, however, not so great...
Finally, Blood kicked ***. It was wicked awesome! The concert sold out, and I was glad we had purchased tickets in advance. Fu~ki did a whole bunch of para para that involved clapping, head banging, and throwing your fist into the air screaming, "Hey Hey!" Not many people were able to follow properly though. -_-; Some people did not know when to stop. Fu~ki tried this clapping to the side thing twice... but I didn't see anyone else in the room that followed other than myself. Not even my friend followed, but that was because she couldn't see Fu~ki leading. Gah! Fu~ki! I wasn't able to get to venue early enough to stand closer.
I ended up near the middle back. The people at the front were able to touch Fu~ki. I even saw someone plant his/her (I couldn't tell) face into his chest. They were really energetic and kept going on for what seemed like forever! I was dead tired and my shoes were killing me, but I couldn't just sit there. There was so much energy in the crowed, I had to keep cheering. They were really friendly at the concert. After the show, they sold their merchandise. I was unable to purchase anything since I had no cash other than what I needed to catch a cab to the bus station and then home in Boston. T_T I wanted a poster! I should have taken more money out when I had the chance. I ended up getting one of my friends cds autographed for her though.
Ok... back to sleep for me... I'm dead tired. zzz....
