Ayaka

Has anyone heard her new song 'why?'
It's going to be the theme song for 'Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core' (which is a game tht also has Gackt in it).

Ayaka's "Real Voice" so different with other japanese singer..

Her voice is so deep, may be like Utada.

And her looks just like Utada too(*i think!*)

New Song?

Why

Never heard of that..

I like Why But I like Clap & Love more! More catchy!

Yeah she has a deeper voice like Hikki but I think her voice is more stronger.

'Te wo Tsunagou' is one of my favourite songs at the moment. Her voice is just really easy to listen to.

I just know "why" because of Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core

that Song is real great and fits perfect to the scene in the videogame

Ayaka has a strong voice, maybe stronger than Hikki, so she might have been able to gain more popularity by releasing a song now while Hikki is busy in the States.

Of course, no one can really replace Hikki but it would have been a good strategic move. Alas, she just got married and probably won't be releasing any new songs for awhile.

Well, here's one of her old songs that has over 1.5 million hits.

History 2006-2009

Ayaka has a new album out. It's a "Best Of" album called History 2006-2009.
Besides "I Believe" (1st track on the disk) and songs mentioned by posters above, the album includes this great song, "Okaeri".

Ayaka x Hitomi Uehara

The vid above has been deleted due to some violation .... too bad, it had a country western flair and was my favorite version of the song. Well, here's a slightly jazzy version of the song featuring Ayaka with jazz pianis, Hitomi Uehara. It doesn't quite work out as well but it's better than nothing.

BTW, Ayaka's last performance for a long time will be on the NHK Red & White Song Festival on New Year's Day. So fans might want to check that out.
