aokigahara forest

anyone ever been to this forest? it surrounds mt. fuji, it is infamous for its famed suicides, and its common thought that spirits roam the forest.
if a body is found, a worker for the forest(commission?) must sleep in the same room with it, as a superstition, so the soul of the body doesnt scream all night and haunt the forest.

if anyone lives nearby do you have any video of this forest?
its one of the places i will first go when i get to japan
