Kind of a pointless thread, but she is very sexy. I might be kind of twisted, but her character in "Shimotsuma Monogatari" was UBER hawt. Plus, she is half-n-half just like me! (Cept she was born in Japan) Anybody else share my feelings or even know her?

Anna's pretty hot right now. She has a hit movie, Sakuran, out on DVD and recently released an album. I think I heard her talk about it on an interview last weekend.

ahh... she jumped the charts shortly after NANA came out right? since she's been doing all the openings and endings along with OLIVIA... i like her... but sometimes i get a little lost in her songs.. is it in english or japanese? she speaks english fine right?? then why does she sing like that? her voice can be a little hard sometimes, but her soft ballad-y songs are enjoyable =D
 
I don't think she's sexy at all. Nor do I find Kumi Koda or Ayumi sexy. I do think Namie Amuro is though.
 

Nana? No no no...I think you're thinking of Mika Nakashima. Anna is in Sakuran and Kamikaze Girls and very popular right now. I don't know about her English.
 
In my opinion she is a hot woman.I really like her.
 
i love anna tsuchiya <3 i like that she has the guts to go for this punk style, whereas most female idols look the same and dress the same and have the same personalities. anna has a lot of personality, and she just seems like someone that's so fun to be around.

english... well ive heard she can't speak it, but then i listen to her music and she has really good pronunciation and all that so i dunno

i think my favorite one of her songs is "Frozen Rose"... yay!

She's right, she meant the anime, not the film. Mika Nakashima was NANA in the film, but Anna Tsuchiya was NANA's singing voice in the anime. She did the theme songs Rose, Lucy, Zero and a few others I think.

She's my favourite female singer. Her voice may not be as good as Tsukiko Amano or Utada Hikaru or even Olivia Lufkin, but her harsh voice and her passion for her music is amazing. And she's such a punk goddess!

I read on the WaiWai news that she made some joke on an interview about her harsh voice coming from smoking and drinking since she was 14, but she's being hounded a bit now, because it was an admission of underage drinking. Poor woman. Still love her though.

i'm not listening to her much though /i dont like female vocals/
but she has a vitality and also looks good.
hmmm she may be the only one female j-rocker i know...

 
A great singer! I love her songs and she isn't bad too, but she ain't really hot then Ai-chin or Koda Kumi.
 
Anna was very kind, polite, and professional. She didn't have to hang around while we were working out choreography but she stayed in the studio and watched. We had to make the choreography on the spot. During filming she was encouraging to us and expressed her appreciation for our hard work. She is very quick to pick up on things and began to imitate some of the girl's steps after 2 takes. Anna is a very cool person with great style and camera presence. It was a lot of fun doing this vid.
