Advent Calendar

Here some winter pics from a city next to where I live (they were taken a few months ago, of course).

The snow is not very impressive here in Brazil

Silver Angel, you have a lot of snow!

Kumo, I love your pictures - it looks like you get the same kind of snow we get here in the UK - just a thin layer, not like in North America and Russia!

I just finished decorating my dining room for Christmas:

Now I have to start on the living room.

That must be the sweetest and cutest decorations I've seen this year!

* neighs * not impressive!!! palm trees covered with snow not impressive!!!!

Absolutely a grand showcase of some of the finest art in the world !! Why do I feel so cold now...but alas, what would the Christmas Holiday Season be like without snow and cold!!

We have had little of the white stuff here yet, but when we do I will take some...well, the advent thing would long gone, so then again, maybe not. I just enjoyed these, and may just simply continue doing only that...

Thanks to all of you for your great photos and friendliness !! I feel right at home.

To continue the Christmas tour of my house, here is my living room:

Has anyone here been to Lapland? I suppose it is pretty commercial this time of year, but I bet it would get you in the Christmas mood.

PLEASE tell me there isn't a wrinkled up little girl crawling out of there every now and then!☝

Isn't that Aurora Borelias?☝

@Void - wow, they are the best pics so far IMO

@Anchyyy - yep, it looks like the aurora to me. I suppose Lapland is one of the best places to see it! I saw it once where I live, when I was a little kid, but it's very, very rare. Void - can you see it where you live?

Thank you! I wish i could see it myself someday. It must be amazing. I started to love it since i read His Dark Materials trilogy

yep, we can see aurora borelis sometimes, this year due to sun activity we had one pretty early (around 31 of august and some in september) just like this one - green, AFAK in many regions all over the world people could "catch" one at this time

My family's tradition is to start decorating in the morning of Christmas Eve
, so all I can show you is my neighbour's tree.
