oh you got 700 posts and change colors congrats! It's gonna take me a while to get used to you with brown lol I use colors to remember people by hahaha like you always were blue and knp was green so on and so forth, so it's always funny when someone changes colors lol it kinda throws me.

Btw, I wish you could've seen the live version of black cherry, its so cool, it really rocks and Chisato had an amazing guitar solo the preview of the pv doesnt show much, but it's a harder song than you would think from that preview =]

Ah yes! I generally prefer harder music. Like when I listened to the other track on 'Spell Magic' I got kinda disorientated at first, got used to it though. And do you know where i can find a translation of 'Spell Magic'?

They took down the live of Black Cherry and Spell Magic... **** I only watched that the other day! It was awesome too... I hate the amout of things that keep getting taken down from youtube... it has become J-rock fans vs youtube... we will win!!

Nan Desu Ka achieved your Dan! ^_^ ... yes it did take me quite a while to realise that the band colours corosponded with matial arts belts! ... quite terrible for someone who practices matial arts really! ... in my defence Hapkido uses different colours to pretty much every other matial art!

and I know, I'm sick of that happening...that live abc stuff was so cool to see too. I think they are like making a dvd or something because those videos looked really professional, like comparable to other concert dvd's so I'm thinking maybe they are for special edition releases of his new singles or something. It seems to early for him to release an actual full concert dvd...but yeah anyways, I'm glad I at least got to see them while they were up >_<

@rby, yeah I know what you mean about the second song on spell magic. I guess it was a cover of some really old song, he's doing the same thing on black cherry as well, the second song is a cover of some 1980-1990 song...I'd honestly prefer two brand new Acid Black Cherry songs, but I'm just happy he's releasing stuff fairly quickly at least! And I'm not sure about the Spell Magic trans, but I'll see what I can find ^^

CD- Hapkido? What kind of style is that? I only guessed about the belts thing, great idea though. Props to whoever thought it up

Yeah the youtube issue, guess it's not really their fault but still. Maybe they're still out there somewhere...I'll probably have a look for them later.
I know what you mean about new material, it would be cool to see more but I guess he can develop his own style more in a way by doing covers

I'm not a hardcore Janne fan, but whats been the general reaction of fans to Yasu's solo career? Are they mostly happy for him or resentful (if you know what I mean)?

I think they are all pretty happy from what I've read they all seem to like ABC, I dont think it's like a Janne Da Arc split up thing, it's more like a hiatus like Hyde and L'arc where they plan to get back together again in the near future

I need to say that I'm in love with Janne Da Arc and everything about them (since about 3 years now ^^ and it's a pity the thread here for JDA is soooo lazy ;____. So of course I also love ABC.
And.. Yasu is a very special person to me. He's so awsome, honest and optimistic. I really adore and admire him. I have listened to his voice for so long now and I really love it. He's so talented!!!!
I've also listened to his words and if you ever read something of what he had said, you will discover he's such a cool person. His sense of humour is fantastic <3

Aw~ by the way: You ask for the reactions of the fans. As one of those "hardcore" fans I can say that we all were kinda shocked when they announced their break.
But at least it's not just yasu who did a solo project. Ka-yu and you released both an album so far, shuji did an DVD and kiyo is supporting other musicians with his piano play.
So they're still active and I read their blogs nearly every day, so I know they're all in contact with each other.
We still love them and we still support them, no matter what they do.
And I guess I can speak for all of us JDA-fans from oversea here *smile*
(We're not so many *laugh*)

Okay, about the single Yasu is releasing in November. It's titled "rakuen", but it can also be read as "paradise." (which is a song of JDA, too. So I guess he wouldn't call it "paradies"). You was able to listen to that song when they showed a live in Yayogi Park of Acid Black Cherry from this sommer in TV (someone uploaded it on youtube if I'm not wrong). It's a great song by the way. Yasu freaked out and got lost in the audience for a while XD ^^

It's a song from 1985. A cover of Look.
It was yasu's most favourite song when he was a teenager, that's why he choose to cover it. He loved to sing it karaoke when he was younger XD ^^

AAAAAAAAAnd.. (okay, I'll come to an end now, I promise ^^;;;; But this is MY topic *löl* it's about Janne and Janne is kinda everything to me ^^)

I saw that!! It's not on youtube anymore but I saw it while it was. I loved that song it sounds so cool, and it rocks like spell magic!! There were two videos I saw, the first was a live of Spell Magic and Black Cherry together at yayogi plus a third song at yayogi I'd never heard before, I'm assuming the third song is the new single? I hope so because it's awesome!!!

Aw~ you were suprised og those lyrics? If you'll you trough the translations of janne Da Arc, you'd see it's not that untypical for yasu. It's from the point of a woman and very sexy. When I read those lyrics of Spell magic I was just like: "Awwww~ need a cold shower!!!" just as same as it was for Dry or Labyrinth of janne Da Arc.
Yasu loves to write about sex and that stuff.
UI guess you noticed that scene in Spell Magic with the women. So typical ^^ Hahaha
By the way: Yasu said he first had the idea for the PV and then he was thinking about a good song to fit the PV. That's how Spell magic was done XD ^^

In my opinion it's a beautiful song as Shinin on is. I expect it will fit perfectly to Yasus voice. He has a great talent to sing ballads.
(Just like in Gekkouka, Rainy, Kaze ni Notte, Kokoro no Yukue or Sakura... or of course Shinin on ^^)

It's kinda weird, because yasu made us wait for a very long time.

For those of you who are intrested in, there was a release of a photobook from acid black cherry.
It has been out since Septmeber 15th. I saw it at cd japan and yesasia already, so there's definitly a chance to order it ^^
