I wanna know what causes the pronunciation difference between a-ri-ga-tou and a-ri-a-tou. Is it from different dialects or accents?
Which part of Japan would they say a-ri-ga-tou and which would say a-ri-a-tou?
Which one is standard Japanese?

The word such like "ariatou" doesn't exist. Even if you heard like that, at least the speaker must intend to say "arigatou".

I haven't heard ariatou either. Didn't even thought it might actually exist. Though, maybe you might misheard this to some Japanese women though. ☝
