初めまして! 私はここに新しいメンバーです。 よろしくお願いします。

I recently joined this group, as I was practicing some Japanese exam questions and came across the use of the adjectival modifier な after an adjective that does end with "-i." (It is not "-ei" adjective by the way for those who were eager to point out the exception of the adjectival modifier! ;P) This one question just vexed me, and I didn't have anyone to inquire about it, which is why I joined this forum! Let me just say with great pleasure that it is great to be part of this online community. I hope the forum will be a great medium in order to obtain anything regarding Japan, culture, language, etc. I'm an avid learner of the Japanese language. I love learning languages in general, because I want to make use of my linguistic knowledge around different cultures when I grow up. I hope it will be useful as I'd like it to be.

I have a good number of Japanese friends I'm close with, and I have learned just effortlessly the language just being around them! I want to hone my skill further, so that I can hopefully use it to my advantage.

I hope that this forum will be a great medium to discuss interesting and also seek help. I feel that I will definitely seek for a help concerning the language from now and then.
Oh! Also - since others have pointed out their native languages in their introductions - I'm fluent in Korean and English. I'm also in my 5th year of Spanish, and I don't consider myself completely fluent, although I believe I am very close.

Thanks and see you guys around.

Welcome.

So.....what was the adjective?
