I'm about halfway through my first semester of Japanese, and it is proving to be both harder and more rewarding than I thought it would be. My major isn't Japanese, but I'm thinking about minoring in Asian Studies (focusing on Japan) after transferring to UNLV.
I've been browsing the forum for a couple of days, and decided I should register to get in on some of the better conversations (the Kanji Appreciation & Tattoo warning threads have been great reads) and hopefully practice writing/typing Japanese.
