I'm trying to figure out what this sentence in my text book says and I understand the structure of it but i just don't know what this word or phrase is that is in katakana:
ニューヨークヤンキース
its taken from this sentence:
ニューヨークヤンキースのぼうしです。
I think that is a country from what I can make of the sentence... I think it says that its a (specific country's?) hat. I was going to say that it was a person's hat but there's no title.
No, not at all. I just show some ways to look up the words that are not listed in dictionaries. Isn't this helpful?;-)
(Although I do believe both ニューヨーク and ヤンキース are in dictionaries, if you can separate the word correctly.)
