Light aroma with hints of dried fruit, steamed rice, a touch of floral notes and spice. Nagaragawa's Chōkarakuchi, unfiltered and undiluted, is soft, with a creamy texture and a fairly full body. It is a distinctly dry sake—noticeably drier than the Minakata Gokukara Junmai tasted earlier—yet the smooth mouthfeel carries a faint sweetness that balances the dryness. At 19% ABV, it has a clear strength, leading into a long, clean finish with a slight tingling edge.
