Writing Japanese on the computer

What is the best software to write japanese in the computer or do you have any good links just reply to this thread cause I am wanting to make some japanes character's or writeing in japanese. Thank you for paying attention to this thread.

That's true. As Shadow pointed out, there are a lot of other programs that allow you to process Japanese on non-Japanese systems. I have also used NJStar.

...or you could just go get a font. i have one with kanas and another with kanji. the trouble with that is that others would also have to have said fonts to see them so youll have to make whatever you wanna type into a picture.

Typing Japanese in Windows or Ubuntu

Hello! In either Windows or Ubuntu, you can type Japanese easily. In Windows, go to regional settings in the Control Panel and add Japanese. After a reboot,it will be available for use. In Ubuntu, go to Language Support and ad Japanese. Then select is under SCIM. After logging in and out, it will be available. Good luck, and please don't hesitate to ask any questions.
