Konnichiwa Keithd-san!

In Japan, Anime means animated cartoon. And it is not only Japanese animation but also foreign animation. All animations are Anime in Japan.

Manga means (illustrated) cartoon but not animated cartoon originally. But a lot of people say Manga for animated cartoon too. Now, Manga means (illustrated) cartoon and animated cartoon.:(

Comics means Manga in book form(a separate volume).

But this is Japanese distinction, and it is not the same in all over the world. An instance, Anime means only Japanese animation sometimes.:p
