Hello this is the only forum I could find that looks like it could help me.
I've asked everyone I know and no one can tell me what this symbol means.
If you could help me out it would mean alot cause it keeps buggin me.
I drew this in paint and im not that good but this is what it looks like so yeah.

is this what you are after? If so it is the old version of or "ryuu."

Both mean "dragon"

Ah thanx, I was wondering why 龍 was also used, since I only knew 竜.

So it's an old kanji for the same word.. Only 3 posts on this forum as of now, and already learning. 👍

What are you trying to say? Please learn more Japanese words (without a
verb ?) Like Douzo tanoshii ryokou wo (?) Please have an enjoyable trip ?

Also for variety you can ask "Kore wa" Is this correct ? Or just Kore de ii desuka? Is that right?

She asked if anyone could give her Japanese words. So I wanted to say something to the effect of: "Here you go, more Japanese words."

The sentence being the words themselves that she is asking for. A poor attempt at humor on my part. Especially since I wasn't sure if I was conveying that idea across.

By the way

we use when refer to the year of the Dragon.

辰年 = tatsu doshi

Good God I forgot about this post from forever ago thank you plenty sorry its so freakin late I can now take my head out of the wall cause I know what the symbol means I only wish I hadent forgot about it so long ago!
