During my daily reading of the Japanese Daily Sun (Nikkan San) newspaper, two words have baffled me: "Jagujii" (ニ淡ニ叩ニ丹ニ淡ツー) and "Kajino" ( ニ谷ニ淡ニ知).

"Jaguji" is supposed to be "jacuzzi". So it should've been written and pronounced as "jakuuji" (ニ淡ニ叩ニ誰ツーニ淡). Then I realized that the Japanese word for "water faucet" is "jaguchi," so that might have contributed to the confusion.

"Kajino", from the context I found out, is "casino".
Would've been better as Kashiino (ニ谷ニ歎ツーニ知)

But then again, I can never for the life of me convince any Japanese person that their pronunciation of "major" is incorrect. :p

First, these words are not English, but Italian. Transcribed from Italian, it should be "jakujji" ニ淡ニ槌槌誰ニ鍛ニ淡 and "kaji-no" ニ谷ニ淡ツーニ知, not "jakuuji" nor "kashiino".
The pronunciation they use in Japanese is visibly neither Italian, nor English, but French.
