Travel Tokyo Best Sakura Spot : Shakujii Kawa

Granted that this year Sakura was rather special wth some trees turning green even before having all their flowers out, but... there is one place in Tokyo that was like always just magical : Shakujii Kawa.

I live a 5 min walk from Shakuji kawa!
The park is also worth visiting. The train station (Shakuji-koen) is only 10 mins by express train from Ikebukuro and the more remote lake has a very impressive range of birdlife for a big city (according to my late ornithologist uncle).
