Dear native English speakers,
Would all of the sentences below be used?
(a) I had an opportunity to talk to the mayor.
(b) I had an opportunity to talk with the mayor.
(c) I had an opportunity to speak to the mayor.
(d) I had an opportunity to speak with the mayor.

Thanks in advance.
Hirashin

Yes, and I think which one is preferred depends on dialect. I would prefer "talk to" and "speak with", but others might have different preferences.
