I've been scanning through many of the posts and i still havent come up with a concrete answer for an idea i have.

I'm current 18 years old and i'd like to go to Japan and work for the summer, but i was hoping that there are jobs available to foreigners aside from teaching english. What kind of visa is necessary and what is the likely hood of actually getting one of those jobs? Im assuming that searching for a Job in tokyo is probably my best bet.

If anyone can help suggest ideas or companies that facilitate hiring foreigners (canadians) that would be great. Also just as added info i speak English and French fluently, i speak Mandarin pretty well too and i have basic spanish/japanese knowledge.

Thanks!

You need to research the "working holiday visa".
