I get that alot when i read a good book while in the background a CD is playing. Especially if the player is set on repeat. After some time the story and the music merge in my brain. So the CD becomes some kind of soundtrack for the book.
I've learned that it's important to choose the right CD for the right book. Because if you don't, some funny things will happen.
e.g. Everytime i play the F.U.C.K album from Van Halen i get images of Middleearth in my head.![]()
Thinking about it, that sounds more like conditioning. (like Pawlow's dogs)![]()

Well,it was weird with the "iris" song too...The first two verses were straight from my life and my thoughts when I heard the song for the first time. When I heard it I also somehow knew, and was afraid that also the third verse would soon be true...And so it was...Originally posted by KoranRi
I think almost every song reminds me of something. That would probably becuase I always have a song stuck in my head. Chipi mentioned "Iris." I love that song. It makes me think of the only thing I had for comfort for a while. I won;t say what that was (too personal) but it's a great song anyhow. I forget the name of the song, but there's a song that used to make me think of one of my guy friends. At the time he was going out with one of my best friends. He liked the song and somehow I felt when I listened to it that he would brake up with her. In fact, he did. It's kinda weird. ^^

"Insatiable" by Darren Hayes. I shed tears every time I listen to the song.........it reminds me of my immortal beloved.

For me it's Enigma's "Why". A magnificent piece, and very powerful.
