I recently came into possession of a Japanese WWII Hinomaru flag. It would be great if an expert in the community could translate some of the inscriptions on the flag. Thank you. Eric

The big letters at the top read, 祷 武運長久 inoru buunchōkyū, Good Luck in Battle, basically.

The rest are names.
