I made the following post roughly two years ago. I have tried to seach but have had no results, using the Japan Social Services. I am hoping someone may see this and know someone in my mom's family. There has got to be at least a sister or brother of hers still alive in Japan. My mom's name is Kunie Kawahigashi. She is in her 70s now and would be happy to know her family again. She has not seen her family in Osaka area since the 1960s.
My mother's father's name is Asajiro Kawahigashi. Born 13 October 1898. last known address (in Feb 1964) is 192, Kiyu, Baba, Oaza, Takase, Moriguchi-shi, Osaka-fu. Her mother's name is Yone Kawahigashi. Born 5 April 1901. Yone was born at 675-2, Oaza, Mizuo, Tamakushi-mura, Mishima-gun, Osaka-fu. Permanent address for both is 38, Oaza, Takase, Moriguchi-shi, Osaka-fu.
Mother's sisters: Hatsuko Kawahigashi. Born 9 June 1923. She passed away on 8 September 1923.
Hisako Kibiki. Born 11 December 1924. She passed away on 25 June 1948 at 196, Kiyu-segi, Moriguchi-shi, Osaka-fu.
Akiko Nishida. Born 15 April 1927. Address on 24 February 1964 was 613-10, Oaza, Ibaragi, Ibaragi-shi.
Ayako Kawahi. Born 14 March 1940 at 191, Kiyu, Segi, Oaza, Takase, Sango cho, Kita-Kouchi-gun, Osaka-fu. Address in 1964 was 192, Kiyu, Baba, Oaza, Takase, Moriguchi-shi, Osaka-fu.

I have a letter that Ayako sent to my mom in the 1960s (after she married my dad and moved to Alaska) had an address of Seihuso 10-21, Funaki Ibaraki City, Osaka, Japan on it. It also lists her name as Ayako Morimoto. Also in this letter there is the following number: 0726 (24) 7095. Could this be a phone number?
