Hello,

I am looking for a translation to a scroll I recently acquired.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Sorry for being late. I asked an expert in reading sumi writings and according to this person, it's 天行健 tian xing jian, a part of the phrase in yijing (易教) , "天行健,君子以自強不息" (As Heaven's movement is ever vigorous , so must a gentleman ceaselessly strive along.) 天行健,君子以自强不息_百度百科
The calligraphers's signature can be read as 素堂福書 "written by Su Tang Fu", it's a Chinese name.
