Konnichiwa..

If anyone who understand or speak Japanese (or you are a Japanese) quite well, I need your help.

I am Indonesian, and I often hear songs by a 1960's Japanese singer Sakamoto Kyu, which typically known as his famous off-shore hit "Sukiyaki" (Ue Wo Muite Arukou). I have almost all of his records, including the singles that remained unpopular.

In this case, I would like to figure out the lyrics of one of his "unpopular" songs, called "Moshi Sukini Nattara" (I can actually write this in Japanese letters but my keyboard won't let me. But that is not important since I can give you the actual hearing song).

I can speak Japanese a little bit but I'm not capable just yet to hear and know the meaning of the song. Although I can hear his pronunciations, I'm still doubtful that I can get it wrong.

Here's the link of the song:
Moshi sukini nattara - Kyu Sakamoto

If you understand the lyrics, can you please write the lyrics down (in latin alphabet if you can, though I still can read hiragana. But Latin alphabet is easier for me). If possible, you can also write the meaning/translation of the song.

May I ask you to show us your effort? I mean, did you try to write down the lyrics by yourself?

Sure.. here's what I've got so far.
I wrote this in hiragana (now I can cause I changed computer) and romaji since I don't know the meaning:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. The ( [letter] / [letter] ) is the one I'm doubt the pronunciation between these two letters in the song.
2. The ( [letter] ?) is the one I'm doubtful if it is supposed to be pronounced or not (he pronounced it not clear enough in the song).
3. The ( [letter] / [letter] (?)) is the combination of the two cases above.
4. The way he say "が" sometimes came out as "んが", as referenced in the lyrics

If I get to love you,,,
If you get to love me,,,

The pretty girl is always smiling to me in my mind.
I'll promise, I'll make a birdie's-like nest with branches of love.

If I get to love you,
If you realize my love, what shall I do?

The pretty girl is speaking in my mind even in the midnight.
I'll promise, I'll become the one who keeps singing tenderly even when I'm lonely.

If I get to love you,
If you realize my love, what shall I do?

Let both of us kiss. I'll become happy.
Let both of us kiss. I'll surely feel shy.

Oh.. I didn't know "ga" can be pronounced as such..

Anyway, thank you very much, Toritoribe for your help! I'm very grateful you translated it so I can know the meaning of the song. Now I can use this song to perform

[This case is solved]

Cheers, mate!
