As for your question...

I'm a big fan of Alice in Chains... or was because with it's unlikely they'll get back together again (vocalist killed himself).
The solo-work of AIC-guitarist Jerry Cantrell still is just as good as AIC was though.
 
is dat Layne Staley ??? hmmm.... kinda heard of it....
i already heard their song "again"...i aint sure if its them though...lol

for me, i love system of a down. but also deftones, rage against the machine, polysics, mad capsule markets, amen, queens of the stone age...and some others, but they spring to mind right now 👏

recently I am really into this band
it is a Japanese rock,pop band
although most of their songs tend to be on the Pop side
but they could go very hard rocking sometimes

very skillful and interesting guitar work by Tak
also the way they compose and arrange the songs
and of course the nice lyrics and vocal by Koshi
they play stuff like hard rock,soft rock,pop,even some dance music mixed with cool guitar works

Tak is one of my top 3 favourite guitarists

Rachel and I have the same taste in music, I see. I'm definitely a NIN fan--Pretty Hate Machine(Something I Can Never Have being my favorite track). Other rock bands I like are Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, White Zombie, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down....many more. I'm not even getting into the old school stuff...

sorry to say that I am about to sell all my Metallica CDs
(black,And Justice For All,Ride On Lightning,Master Of Puppets,Kill'em All)
and maybe also sell the Cliff'em All DVD too.

I used to like this band but now I am anti-Metallica for various reasons.
 
Hmm, lock 'm up in a box for a good few months and see if you still don't want to listen to them again after that time.

Personally, i think selling out of my own collection cd's is a sin. :)

I've already not listen to my Metallica CDs for quite long time,like a year

so I guess maybe I should sell them

I usually don't think about selling out of my collection CDs
but Metallica is the exception,because their actions disgusts me.
 
Man you mustn't throw out your MetallicA collection unless u got anything after black thgen I forgive you but all their early stuff is simply awesome. Just think MASTER OF PUPPETZ!!!! and just keep chanting to yourself MASTER, MASTER WHERES THAT ALBUM THAT I'VE BEEN AFTER? I'm sure MetallicA will find form soon all they need to do is get rid of that C*** Bob Rock and they will be on their way to another classic. In the mean time listen to some Dream Theatre and Master of Puppets. 🙂 :sing:
 
well to be honest,thrash metal is never really my cup of tea
I am not into thrash/death/black metal at all.


as you see,I like neo-classical metal such as Yngwie Malmsteen
Yngwie is a big fat ego but he is great
 
dont get rid of them just because of their actions (which are stupid i know i meen they did make their following in the early 80's by people bottlegging their tapes and stuff which is basically what napster did and they themselves did this also anyway...) so dont throw them out just for that you odnt have to agree witht hem to listen to them same with peopel who think you have to be a satanist to listen to black metal im not and i love hte stuff. but yeah yngwie is a great guitarist same as vai and satriani but i can only listen to them for like 15 minutes befor i get bored .
 
Seppuku and FixxxOr just listed my music collection. I can't think of any more to all to the list off the top of my head but, that is a very good list to start with. A lot of new music is coming out that is getting back to what its all about.
