I'd just like to know if anyone knows of any kind of reading books, you know, the kind that is meant for language learners, with a small glossary at the end, a limited amount of words used, furigana, mostly kana, etc. Like the Penguin series for english learners.
Thank You very much.

YOMOYOMO is one of the most useful site for learners.

The text-to-speech engine in the site is nice, but we need another 10 years to learn pronunciation from it.

Thank you very much, but aren't there primitive books that i could order somehow? I mean books meant for learners... there must be some.

I'd say Breaking into Japanese Literature is a good recommendation if you've finished elementary Japanese. Although the vocabulary glossary on each page assumes no prior knowledge, the style written in the short stories is quite literary. Just something to bear in mind.

You could also try the Japanese Graded Readers/レベル別日本語多読ライブラリー series which is a compilation of short stories tailored for JLPT levels 2-4:

日本語多読学習のための"読みものライブラリー"
