Hi there, could somebody say if i got this right:

konya, goryoushin ga nihon ni kuru to itte imashita yo.

Does this mean: She told me that her parents are coming to japan tonight.

That is one possible interpretation. More precisely, it would be "said" because there is nothing there which indicates "told me" specifically (or that it is a female speaking. The interpretation/translation can vary according to contextual information.

To answer your last question. The Textbook i am using is BUNKA SHOKYUU NIHONGO II.

Did you notice and understand the correction to the answer in your previous thread? I get the impression you may have missed it.

Does that textbook use romaji throughout? Have you not learned hiragana or katakana yet?
