That is my wobbly try above. but i would like you guys to give me word for word trans in the right order.
In addition. Which is more appropriate to use for 輩は数?. Should it be "some" "those" or "a few" e.t.c
Also, should いた be "were" or "is" in that sentence?

数いる(or 数ある for inanimated things) means "there are many", and 数いた is the past form of it.

There were many who couldn't control Hashirama's power and (therefore) revealed an imperfect form of Izanagi, but...
