Places to visit in Shizuoka

I am currently living in Mishima,Shizuoka district. Since we have a 5 day holiday coming up here, I would like to go
around some places. I have already planned 2 days for climbing Mount fuji (1 day for resting, he he)
and am unable to decide about the remaining 3 days. I have been to gotemba and hakone and onsen and nikko.
Could someone let me know some not-to-miss places nearby? I would be very thankful.
I was thinking of going to kyoto/osaka, but the shinkansen ticket cost to those places is too high for me.

cud someone let me know the various places that r good to go and see?

how much is it to go to nara? maybe it's a supply and demand thing... i just walked around outside the station while going to kyoto, but i saw some rental car dealerships -- one of them had a vitz!
