Help Pitch Accent for たい and its other forms

I was wondering how the pitch accent for たい works when added after a verb to show a want for an action, like 行きたい、行きたくない (especially this one)、行きたかった、行きたくなかった

Is it a flat tone? or does it go down after た, or does it go down after な, or ?

My wife's voice goes up an octave on the たい but I don't think that's normal!
I've just asked my two native Japanese speaking sons (age 11 and 8) to read the words, one's went up on the たい and one's didn't, so I guess it doesn't matter much.

The pitch accent type of -tai forms differs depending on the type of the original verb, and each -tai form is treated as an i-adjective.

Thus, 行きたい is treated as 無核型 adjective like 赤い.
行きたくない　/イキタクナイ＝/

生きたい　/イキタ]イ/
Thus, 生きたい is treated as 有核型 adjective like 青い.

So how do I know if a verb is 無核型 or 有核型? Based on their original accent from the dictionary form? So are words such as 書く considered 有核型, and words such as 遊ぶ count as 無核型?
