just letting myself be known..

i'm a swede/englishman with large japanese flags hanging from the walls of my apartment.. next semester i'm starting a japanese course that'll hopefully send me to japan as an exchange student for 6 months after a year over here...
so far i've only been able to learn katakana and hiragana from websites and stuff so i'm fresh meat =P
found this forum and seeing as how it's the best i've seen yet on the topic of Japan, i thought i'd register.. looking forward to talking to all of you..
