O hazuka shii desuga…

Does it mean something like " are you afraid " what I mean by this is like is someone competing with another.

Also, does one really use "O" in this statement?

Thanks

The shame is on the speaker's side in お恥ずかしいですが "O-hazukashii desu ga", thus, it means "I'm ashamed, but~". Do you mean 恥ずかしいです? "Hazukashii desu ka?" Are you ashamed?, by any chance?

Wow! Now that really makes a big difference. Thank you very much.

The statement was with O-hazukashii desu ga.

I had to change my reply after your help here. Thanks again.
