🙂 Hi All,
I live in Pune, India. I want to learn Japanese but am hampered by the fact that I cant find teachers in my area (I live in Karve Nagar). So if anyone knows of teachers or has a list of teachers , please let me know.

Also, if you guys could give me pointers to learning the basics I would be really glad.

Thanks,
Sucheta

My mum's friend teaches Japanese in Hong Kong, so she can't me as i'm in Englang but she gave me these pack of cassettes that she taped in her lessons, and gave it to me with all these work sheets. There very useful ;)

I've also started a Japanese course on my website, there's only one lesson now, but more will be added:

theforeigner-japan.com/japanese101

The first lesson just deals with nouns and the relationships between them, the second lesson will handle the basics of verbs.
