Hello! I'm really a beginner in Japanese but fact is; i will be having this interview with a Japanese company really soon. The job doesn't require me to know Japanese, but i think i'll be nice if i know how to say this:

"i'm very interested in your company and I would like to say thank you for giving me the opportunity for this interview. I will try my best and hope that you will view my cadidacy favorably"

Thanks in advance! 🙂

"i'm very interested in your company and I would like to say thank you for giving me the opportunity for this interview. I will try my best and hope that you will view my cadidacy favorably"

This translation is...

Watashi ha Kisha he no Kanshin wo Tsuyoku suru to tomo ni, Mensetsu no Kikai wo Ataete Itadaki Taihen Kansya site orimasu. Watashi ha Saizen wo Tsukusu to tomo ni, Watashi no "cadidacy favorably?" wo Mite itadakitai to Omotte orimasu.

Sorry, I don't know "cadidacy" to what meaning. There is not in my dictionary "cadidacy".

But I think that I don't suggest writing Japanese sentence if you don't need to write in Japanese. Especially formal case. Because writing formal sentence is very difficult in Japanese. The Japanese can judge one's educational background from how to write a letter. And I can not write formal Japanese sentence from your short English. And I don't know that my sentence is correct or not in your case.

A little learning is a dangerous thing.:p

Just a misu or typo. It should be candidacy (kouho?). Or maybe you would use application in this context?

Thanks for all your Help, Nangi and Elizabeth.

Yes, I apologize for my typo; the "cadidacy" should be "candidacy"... I'll try to be careful while using these words since I totally agree with Nangi that a little learning is a dangerous thing~ I guess there's still a long way for me to go if I want to speak and write Japanese fluently.

Thanks again~!

don't know that I would use something so elaborate. It will set the bar and you don't want to have it too high.
